FAQ

Do you sell to farmers?

We do not sell directly to farmers, unless there are no competent local dairy engineers.

We can put farmers in touch with their nearest Milking Solutions (MS) dealer who can supply them with our full range of MS parts. When no MS part is available, we can supply genuine Gascoigne Melotte parts.

Can I buy directly from you?

We usually sell our products through a worldwide network of MS dealers. We can put you in touch with your nearest dealer who can supply you with all the MS parts that you need.

If there are no competent dairy engineers in your area, we will consider an account request allowing you to buy direct from MS. Please contact us with your details, advising who you are and details of your business.

Is there a minimum order value?

No there is not.

How much is your delivery charge?

It will depend on the value of your order and where in the world you are based.

Delivery is free for UK orders over £1,000 (excluding VAT) and Western European orders over €1,000. Delivery charges for smaller and worldwide orders are applied at cost (minimum charge £15/€35).

Delivery charges are kept to a minimum and, where possible, parcels under 2Kg are sent using Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ service.

Bulky or heavy orders will incur additional delivery charges. Please contact MS for a quotation.

Can I order online?

Yes, but first you will have to set up an account. This is quick and easy to do. Go to the ‘My Account’ button on this website and ‘Request an Account’. Fill in the details requested, press ‘Send’ and then one of our Sales Team will be in touch. Once you’re set up you can order everything you need online.

How long will my delivery take?

We carry high stock levels, which means that we can usually provide a very fast, efficient delivery service.

For example, from receipt of order payment, delivery is usually:
- one day to the UK
- three days to Western Europe
- five-seven days to the rest of the world

How will my deliveries be affected by Brexit?

We are not anticipating any delays in delivery time and dispatches will continue as normal.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by BACS (direct bank transfer) or you may be eligible to set up an account with us (subject to credit references). We can also accept £ Sterling credit card payments.

In which currencies do you transact?

Payments can be made either in Euros or £ Sterling.

In which languages do you transact?

Our catalogue is available in English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish. Invoicing is available in four languages (English, French, German and Dutch) dependent upon your country of operation.

If you need help and advice on any of our parts, you can email us in any language.

Can I ask for my delivery to be sent to an alternative address?

Yes, but please note that any delivery charges will relate to the alternative delivery address provided. There are also VAT implications of sending export orders to UK addresses and vice-versa.

What is your returns policy?

All returns must be accompanied by a reason for return, details of any fault and the original invoice number. Goods for return cannot be collected.

Claims must be notified in writing for:

a. damages or shortages within seven days of receipt of goods
b. non-delivery within seven days of receipt of invoice

There is a 15% handling charge for goods returned for restocking.

How will you use my data?

We take the security and privacy of your data very seriously. We have developed a Privacy Notice that outlines how we collect, store and handle your personal data. Please take the time to read this on our website.
